Dean Meyer has been a police officer for 15 years, and has been employed by the St. Charles City Police Department
throughout his career. Dean’s positions have included patrol, rifle officer, crime scene specialist and field training officer.
Dean is a long time member of the St. Charles City Police Officers Association and has served that organization in several
roles, including the Association President and Vice President.
Dean has been a member of Lodge 15 as long as he has been a policeman, and has served the Lodge as a State and
National delegate several times over the past fifteen years. Dean has also been appointed to numerous committees within
the Lodge, and has consistently donated his time for the betterment of the organization.
Dean's goals for the Lodge are to continue its financial stability by cutting costs where necessary and serving as an
advocate for the Lodge’s financial success. Since joining Lodge 15’s Executive Board in 2007, Dean has already utilized
his expertise with the installation of a new phone system at the Lodge and reductions in both banking expenditures and
building maintenance fees.
