Dave Owens has been a commissioned police officer since 1992. His duties as an officer have included Road
Patrol, K9, and Traffic.
Dave’s history within the Fraternal Order of Police, and his service to Lodge #15, spans over the past 12
years. Currently, Dave serves on Lodge #15’s Executive Board in the position of Guard. He also serves as
the State Trustee and the Ways and Means Committee Chairman. Dave is currently appointed to the State Legal
Aid Committee as well.
Dave has been a state and national delegate several times over the past 12 years and has served on the State
Audit Committee and the Political Action Committee.
Dave likes to donate his time conducting lodge building preservation and in fundraising efforts, such as direct
mail, and by coordinating a variety of activities that serve that purpose.
His priorities for Lodge #15 include establishing bargaining units for its members, maintaining the highest
degree of legal protection available to members, staying progressive and efficient in the operation of the
organization, and providing strong and professional representation.
Dave is a former member of the United States Marine Corps…OOH RAH!
